This is a good Chinese buffet, as far as buffets go. I wouldn't compare it to a cooked to order place, as I think most buffets tend to be at least a bit on the bland side. Yet, I didn't find that to be the case here, at least on the items that I sampled.
I came here a bit ago after leaving my vet's office, and I just needed something quick and easy, which is most of the time for me anymore. This buffet is of the newer and larger types, with a lot of offerings. I went for my usual buffet routine: hot and sour soup, crab Rangoon, green beans, and a sample of an entrée or two. I also decided on some sushi since it looked decent and they had a sizable selection. I liked all that I tried, especially the hot and sour soup and sushi.
Both the Hibachi Buffets in Fern Creek and on Preston Highway are good as well. This location was clean and they kept the buffet well-stocked. The service was friendly and efficient. It served its purpose well, and I was in and out within a half hour. I wouldn't hesitate to return. -

A good place to have hibachi . Food is always good and sushi is fair price wise.
Bathrooms are not great and need updating and repair.
Portions are huge. -

The food here is amazing. But the last time I was here with my son the waiter told us to pay now. Yes he was being a little loud but he's 2. Other than that one time, the service has always been amazing. My family has been eating here since it was called eastern house. This place has come a long way since then

Initially had my mind set on fish. But upon hearing the location we went had a 3 hour wait, we decided to try this place out. We did the buffet!
The first plate was iffy, I had literally a combination of all different things I like. I also tried the sushi rolls they had, the yum yum rolls and the spicy . They were good, the honey chicken was good and hot, the general tso chicken was kind of cold, the lomein was good as well. I also had some bourbon chicken and it too was kind of cold.
I was kind of disappointed...Until!!! I went to the hibachi grill! And created my own combo plate with rice, steak, chicken, shrimp, broccoli, onions and peppers! It was pretty darn amazing! It pretty much saved this review lol oh annnnnd the sweet tea was REALLY GOOD! Not overly sweet, but just right!
The location is clean, had a small issue with my initial silverware, but that was corrected ASAP. The staff was nice and courteous.
I am slightly disappointed in myself because I ate wayyyy to much lol I'll definitely have to burn this off, but sooooo worth it.
Overall it is definitely a place that we will return to, I may just bypass the other things all together and go straight for the sushi and hibachi! -

This place deserves every star, food came out regularly and almost every dish was great. I really enjoyed the baked muscles and the other seafood options. The sushi was being prepared regularly, and this buffet had a great variety to choose from. Wish I could pick this restaurant up and move it to Anderson. At roughly 7.50 a person for lunch it was a great value.
